YANDELL OCNS - May 20, 2002 - Ovie J. Yandell, 93, longtime resident of Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed away Friday afternoon, May 17, 2002 at the Fairfax Hospital. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, at the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. Ovie was born Marcy 17, 1909 at Havana, Arkansas, the daughter of Tom H. White and Nettie Dora (Blaylock) White. She married Charles Edward Yandell August 13, 1928 at Havana. She was a member of the Fairfax Assembly of God Church and her enjoyments included crocheting, quilting and fishing. Mrs. Yandell is survived by four sons, Wallace Yandell, Eugene Yandell and Robby Lee Yandell all of Fairfax and Everett Ray Yandell of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Ruth Lucille Smith of Fairfax; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Yandell on June 30, 2000; one infant son and two grandsons, Kevin and Kyle Yandell; one sister, Ola Wellhousen and one brother, Ollie White.
