The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PAUL KENNARD DICKEY OCNS - December 10, 2001 - Paul Kennard Dickey, 66, longtime resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away December 7, 2001, in the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mr. Dickey was born March 15, 1935, in Richwood, West Virginia, the son of Paul Wade and Louise (Mourey) Dickey. He was reared in the Pawhuska area and on June 16, 1955, married Joyce Goad in Bartlesville. He was retired from the auto salvage business. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Goad Dickey of the home in Pawhuska; two sons, Ronald Mirl Dickey and Randy DeWayne Dickey, both of Pawhuska; a daughter, Brenda Kay Waknee of Wilburton, Oklahoma; his mother, Louise Dickey Atkins; nine sisters, Betty Palmer, Barbara Willard, Norma Collins, Karen Johnson, Sharon Royall, Gail Price, Ellen Estes, Mae Ennis and Linda Johnston; six brothers, David Dickey, Bill Dickey, Elsworth Atkins, Spike Atkins, Donnie Atkins and Roger Atkins. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dickey; a daughter, Paula Lanet Martin; a brother, Gerald Atkins and a sister, Delsie Luman. Services for Mr. Dickey will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Edgar Beaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
