Olivia Maxine Parks

Services: Mon., June 25, 9:30 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 
2739 Panama Ln., Monday, June 25 at 9:30 a.m. for Olivia Maxine 
Parks, 88, who passed away June 20, 2001 in Bakersfield. Mr. Garth 
Black will officiate. Olivia was born December 18, 1912 in Hominy, 
Oklahoma and had resided in Kern County for 65 years. She was a 
school teacher for five years. Olivia was a member of the Westside 
Church of Christ. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. 
Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Parks; son, 
Clifford Parks; and daughter, Robert Powell. Survivors include her 
son-in-law, Randall Powell of Bakersfield; granddaughter, Olivia 
Powell; grandson, Clifford Parks; great grandson, Dustin Powell; 
great granddaughter, Kamyelle Powell; and many nieces and nephews. 
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 24 from noon to 9 p.m. Greenlawn 
Southwest Mortuary Funeral Directors
