All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Glencoe Cemetery--Glencoe OK The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 34, No. 6 February 6, 2002 Page 5 Chloe Reeves Chloe Reeves was born Nov. 18, 1911, near Gilbert, Scarcy County, Ark., to Tilman Columbus and Sarah Francis Crider Treat. Chloe went to be with our Lord Fri. Feb. 1, 2002 at her home in Glencoe. She was 90 years old. On Oct. 23, 1929, she married Jesse Arville Reeves in Hominy. He died June 18, 1976. Chloe moved from Gilbert to Prue and then to Glencoe and lived most of her adult life on a farm. She was loved by many. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Fred Treat, and a sister, Eunice Cypert. She is survived by a sister, Ruby Yarbrough of Prue; four children, Ruby Flowers and her husband, Floyd, of Glencoe, Jack Reeves and his wife, Martha, of Glencoe, Janice Bartlett of Stillwater and Mary Harwick of Glencoe; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held Tues. Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Glencoe Church of Christ. Ken Mantle presided. Internment will follow at Glencoe Cemetery. Her grandchildren served as the Pall Bearers.
