Mrs. Prichard was born August 14, 1931, in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jess & Loze (Hatfield) Mitchell. March 29, 1950, in Pawhuska, she married Chester L. Prichard who preceded her in death June 20, 1996. Mrs. Prichard was a Certified Nurses Aid and a member of the Church of God in Pawhuska. Survivors include: her son: Glen Prichard of Lexington, Oklahoma; two daughters, Linda Patrick and husband, Scott, of Pawhuska and Maxine Dixson and husband, David, of Alva, Oklahoma; an adopted son, Richard Compton, Pawhuska; and adopted daughter/granddaughter, Tonya Prichard, Pawhuska; two brothers, Paul Mitchell, Vinita, Oklahoma and Clarence Mitchell and wife, Mary, Miami, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jessie Wright and husband, Corky, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Doris Parks of Miami, Oklahoma; grandsons: George Connor and Ricky Compton, both of Pawhuska, Terry Combs, Ponca City, Oklahoma; Michael Lyons, Bartlesville; Jeff Dixson and Mike Dixson, both of Alva; granddaughters: Zelora Gibble, Amber Compton and Sara Compton of Pawhuska; Carolyn Fry, Gibbs, Oklahoma; Tina Prichard of Alva; Shauna French, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Rhonda Ratford and Lisa Lyons, Bartlesville; Becky Combs, Blackwell, Oklahoma, Christina Eastin, Ponca City, and many great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska with Reverend Benny Spencer officiating. Interment was in the Prue (Oklahoma) Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
