Ruby was born May 2, 1911 in Evansville, Arkansas, the daughter of Delbert DeeWitt and Bethana Ellen (Whelchel) Reed. October 1, 1929 she married W.F. "Frank" Moore in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death April 3, 1985. A pioneer telephone operator, housewife and avid fisherwoman, Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Pythian Sisters. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Fanny and Jim Snively, Jr. of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, W.F. "Bill" and Barbara Moore, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Robert H. and Teresa Moore of Pawhuska; George E. and Glenda Moore of Grapevine, Texas; a brother, L.R. "Tope" Reed of Wakita, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Friday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m., in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Hill officiating. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
