Funeral services for Mr. Hey will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 29, in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Bartlesville with Reverend Willie Jones of the United Methodist Church at Independence, Kansas officiating. Interment will be in the Moline Cemetery at Moline Kansas at 2:00 PM where the Bartlesville Masonic Lodge # 284 will conduct Masonic Graveside Rites. Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket escorts for Mr. Hey will be Michael Williams, Craig Hey, Rodney Williams, Brad Hey, Roger Stoops and Mario Ouellet. Honorary casket escorts will be Greg Simpson, Eric Williams, Steve Williams, Jeff Williams and Christopher Williams. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mr. Hey may do so to: the Transportation Fund c/o Akdar Shrine, 20 East 21st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74114-1197. Mr. Hey was born June 4, 1945 at Montgomery County, Kansas to Frank Malachi and Dorothy Ester (Corle) Hey. He was raised and received his education in Southeast Kansas graduating high school at Moline, Kansas in 1964. Mr. Hey was married to Karen Rogers on May 5, 1973 at Moline. Mr. Hey has been employed with Blake and Bellco Company's for the last thirty-three years. He was currently working in the Claremore area at the time of his accident. Mr. Hey is a member of Bartlesville Masonic Lodge # 284; Scottish Rite of Tulsa; Akdar Shrine of Tulsa, and Kara Grotto of : j Bartlesville and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He has lived in Bartlesville since 1986. Mr. Hey is survived by his wife Karen Hey of the family home in Bartlesville; two sons Richard Wade Hey of Arkansas City, Kansas and William Matthew Hey of ", Bartlesville; two brothers Frank M. Hey of Independence, Kansas and Merle Hey of Moline, Kansas; six sisters Ethel Simpson of Arkansas City, Kansas, Bea Harrison of Newton, Kansas, Wanda Hey of Arkansas City, Kansas, Pearl Williams of Moline, Kansas, Lena Ouellet of Longton, Kansas and Linda High of Elk Falls, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
