Osage County, Oklahoma, Obituary: Redcorn Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: S. Ashton Email: listsa7476@sbcglobal.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- REDCORN - Funeral services for Wye-gla-in-koh, Osage Indian known by all as Redcorn, were held Tuesday morning, conducted by C. W. Burnett, minister, of the Osage Baptist Mission church, and Rev. George C. Boston, pastor of the local Baptist church. Orlando Kenworthy interpreted the services in the language of the Osage Indian. Redcorn was one of the older school of Osages and was well and favorably known by all in the tribe and practically everyone in the county. The tribal services were held at the home of his son, Raymond Redcorn. A quartette composed of Messrs. Yarbrough, Springer, Archiquette and Marks, accompanied by Mrs. Marks, sang two beautiful selections. Interment was made in the local cemetery.
