The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ROGER CORNELL PUCKETT OCNS - December 18, 2002 - Roger Cornell Puckett, 49, was born August 30, 1953 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Theopolus and Elaine (Johnson) Puckett, Sr. and departed this life November 28, 2002. Roger completed high school at Pawhuska High School and attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1975-1976. He united with the Lord in 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Theopolus Puckett, Sr., a sister, Janice Cunningham, his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Gordon and an uncle, Lawrence Sizemore. He leaves to morn his passing: His mother, Elaine Johnson Puckett of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Theopolus Puckett, Jr., of Oklahoma City, Lawrence Puckett of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Johnny Ray Shaw of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Jeanette Elaine Smith of Gary, Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Reverend J.O. Lang officiating. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska was in charge of arrangements.
