CURREY OCNS - December 10, 2001 - Ramona B. Currey, 75, lifelong resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2001, at her home in Pawhuska. Mrs. Currey was born August 4, 1926, in Pawhuska, the daughter of Raymond and Minnie (Schrader) Fint. On September 8, 1946, in Pawhuska, she married Leo Ray "Bud" Currey who predeceased her on May 12, 1988. Ramona was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Survivors include: two sons, Steven Ray Currey and wife, Pam, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Rex Allen Currey and wife, Melissa, of Pawhuska; two daughters, Susan ReNea Downing and husband, Mark, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, and Kay Currey of the home in Pawhuska; six grandchildren, Stephanie and Zachary Currey of Yukon, Oklahoma; Amy and Shane Downing of Skiatook, and Ahren and Morgan Currey of Pawhuska; a sister, Patricia Bennett of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery, with the Reverend Ronald Eldridge of the First Christian Church officiating. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
