The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SHARON LEA (FRYE) SPONSLER OCNS - March 22, 2002 - Mrs. Sharon Lea Sponsler, 64, resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and retired retail sales clerk, died at 1:11 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, in the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Sharon was born August 13, 1937, at Pawhuska to John and Opal (Caldwell) Frye and raised and received her education in Pawhuska. She moved to the Texas Panhandle in 1959 and, in 1982 to Le Veta, Colorado, where she worked in retail sales and served as the President of the Chamber of Commerce. In 1997 she moved back to Pawhuska. Sharon was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Perryton, Texas. Survivors include one son, James R. Sponsler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Marilyn Reiswig of Perryton, Texas; one sister, Frances Boulanger of Pawhuska; three grandchildren, Shauna Rae Reiswig, Marilyn Michelle Reiswig and Matthew James Sponsler. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Terry Lynn Sponsler and a brother, John Frye. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Bartlesville. Memorials have been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mrs. Sponsler may do so to the Full Gospel Church, P.O. Box 845, Perryton, Texas 79070 or the American Red Cross, P.O. box 1174, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003 or the charity of the donor's choice.
