Mrs. Lassley was born June 15, 1927 in Skiatook to Eugene and Esther (Copeland) Morgan and grew up and received her education in the California and Skiatook area schools. November 15, 1942 she married Herman Lassley in Claremore, Oklahoma and the couple made their home in Skiatook, where they have lived since their marriage. Mrs. Lassley was employed with Munsingwear Manufacturing in Hominy for ten years in addition to being a homemaker. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and currently was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband, Herman of the home in Skiatook are two children; Carolyn Landis and husband Joe, of Skiatook and Linda Stringer and husband, Tim of Dewey, Oklahoma; one son-in-law, Howard Wilson, a sister, Judy Spurgeon, two brothers, Frank Morgan and James Morgan all of Skiatook and a sister, Ruth Parks of Claremore, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Lassley was preceded in death by her mother and father, and by one daughter, DeAnn Wilson.
