SUSIE LONG 

OCNS - September 3, 2002 - Susie Long, 92, of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, died at 
1:55 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2002 at her residence.   Graveside services 
are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in the Osage 
Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma with Reverend Barry Gott officiating.   
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home, 
Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Susie was born November 13, 1909 to Edwin and Susan (Offedd) Eldridge in 
Pampa, Texas.   She married L.C. Long II and was a devoted mother and 
grandmother.   She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the 
First Christian Church in Pampa.   She loved flowers and was an Osage 
County (Oklahoma) rancher.

Survivors include:   Eight daughters, Geraldine and her husband, Lloyd 
Brummett of Avant, Oklahoma, Mary Ann and her husband, Jimmy Roland, and 
Marjorie and her husband, Robert Bichsel, all of White Deer, Texas, Nadine 
and her husband, H.L. Meers, of Pampa, Vickie and her husband, Gene 
Gullett, and Gertda and her husband, A.L. Moore, all of Barnsdall, Carolyn 
and her husband, Gerald Montgomery of Crawford, Oklahoma; and Alma Cole of 
Bartlesville; four sons, L.C. and his wife, Donna Long and John and his 
wife, Margaret Long, all of Avant, Jerry Don Long of Pampa, J.D. and his 
wife, Susan Cole of Barnsdall; twenty-nine grandchildren; fifty-one great-
grandchildren and a host of friends.   She was preceded in death by her 
husband, L.C., one son, Robert Mauldin, one daughter, Norma Jean Mauldin; 
one grandson, Jay David Cole and one granddaughter, Robbie Bichsel.
