in Oklahoma where he played football and later played professional 
football for the Detroit Lions
Veteran:U.S.Army entered in 1943 served as a paratrooper 
received his Honorable Discharge in 1945
Of Interest: He was a Professional Wrestler,
member of the American Legion, Received the Presidential 
Award for Heroism from President Nixon for saving a woman
from a burning house
Resided: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Occupation: Self-employed carpenter
