WALKER OCNS - November 28, 2001 - Evelyn D. Walker, 81, of Wynona, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, November 26, in the Select Specialty Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Walker was born September 15, 1920, in Wynona, the daughter of Henry Alvin and Lilly Leota (Harp) Guffy and on August 16, 1941, married Harold Walker in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Mrs. Walker was a long-standing member of the Assembly of God Church in Wynona, where she served as the Church pianist for many years. She was a wonderful and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Surviving are: her husband of sixty years, Harold Walker of the home; her daughter, Carol Ann Walker of Pawhuska; her son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Lois Walker of Pawhuska; three grandchildren, Dennis Walker, Tisha Walker and Ronda Toles; six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, at 10:30 a.m., in the Assembly of God Church, Wynona, with Reverend David Downing officiating. Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
