On Nov. 19, 2002 he entered into rest in Tulsa. He was 75 years of age. Bill married Mary Hopper in Miami, OK, on April 21, 1978. They resided in Spiro, OK for the last 15 years. Bill joined the Army and served in World War II. He worked as an Accountant with Sun Oil Company for about 30 years. Bill is survived by his wife Mary R. Goodwin of the home, one daughter Brenda Brock of Nevada, three sons Greg Goodwin, gary Goodwin, and Dewayne Goodwin of Tulsa, one step-daughter Barbara Terrel of Lindsay, OK, three steps-sons William Otis Totten of Wynona, Norman Eugene Totten of Wynona, Robert Y. Barnett of Spiro, one brother Jack Goodwin of Broken Arrow, one sister Eula Mae Nunley, two grandchildren, one great0granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Eugene, two sisters, Thelma Hartman and Rose Mary Lingo. Services for Bill were held at 2 p.m. Fri. November 22, 2002 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend George Boston officiated. Bobby Barnett, Art Terrel, Billy Cramer, Gene Totten, Bud Forrest and Robert Dorn served as Casket Bearers. Interment was at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery following services. Service arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
