The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WANDA IRENE MORSBACH OCNS - February 20, 2002 - Wanda Irene Morsbach, 90, former resident of Fairfax, Oklahoma, died early Tuesday morning, February 19, in the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, in the Hunsaker- Wooten Chapel in Fairfax with the Reverend George Weston, Pastor of the First Christian church offciating. Burial will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home. Wanda was born September 9, 1911, in Alva, Oklahoma, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Sloan Spurrier. She was reared in Alva and graduated from the Mt. Carmel Academy, an all girls academy in Wichita, Kansas. August 8, 1942, Wanda and Rudolph Francis Morsbach were united in marriage in Joplin, Missouri, and made their home in Wichita, Kansas. In 1970, after her husband retired, the couple moved to Fairfax. Wanda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was content in making a home for her family and enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, listening to music on her portable radio and in earlier years, gardening and playing music on the piano.
