"Bill" Beegle William E. "Bill" Beegle, died Friday, October 4, 2002, at the family residence in Hominy after an extended illness. Bill was born April 27, 1930, in Cairo, IL, to William Beegle, Sr. and Hazel Washum Beegle. He retired from General Cable Co. in St. Louis, MO, and moved to Hominy upon his marriage to Dixie Keylon in September of 1999. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, spending time either in the garden, working on his model wooden ship, singing, playing the harmonica, listening to music or on his computer. Bill was an unselfish, loving and compassionate person, and enjoyed living in Hominy. Bill is survived by his wife Dixie Beegle of Hominy; sons, William E. Beegle III of Everett, WA, and Terry Lee Beegle of Metropolis, IL; grandson William E. Beegle IV; step children Max and Sandra Downing of Hominy, David Rosen of Dallas, TX, Zachary and Kim Downing and Aaron Downing of Tulsa, and Jennifer Downing of Hominy. Memorial services will be held in Cleveland at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2 p.m. Sat. Oct. 19, 2002.
