"BILL" McFADDEN OCNS - February 22, 2000 - Born October 5, 1909 in Wheeling, Missouri, the son of Noah A. and Ella M. (Howard) McFadden, Bill McFadden passed away February 20, 2000 in the Pawhuska Nursing Home following a prolonged illness. In 1912, Bill moved with his family to Pawhuska, Oklahoma where he graduated from Pawhuska High School and October 2, 1932 married Hazel M. Noel who preceded him in death on June 8, 1996. Bill retired as head cashier in October, 1974 from The First National Bank in Pawhuska with forty years service. He had five years service with the First National Bank in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was active in The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus, the Boy Scouts of America, the American Red Cross, the Pawhuska Round-Up Club and was an avid fisherman. Survivors are six children and their spouses: Michael and Agnes McFadden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Gaynell and Jack Richey of El Dorado, Kansas; John McFadden, Noel and Cynthia McFadden and Ann Angel all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Mary and Del Shroyer of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, Bill was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2000 in The Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, in The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska with Father Leonard Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in The Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
