Yarbrough Logan Holand Yarbrough was born on February 27, 1927 to Omer and Lillie Cole Yarbrough in Wildhorse, OK. On December 1, 2002 he entered into eternal rest. He was 75 years of age. Logan was a lifelong area resident and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prue. He worked as a farmer and rancher most of his life and enjoyed being with his family. Logan is survived by his two brothers, Tom and his wife Jennie Yarbrough of Prue, Jack and his wife Maudie Yarbrough of Skiatook, one sister Kathleen and her husband Sonny Fast of Prue, and one sister-in-law Ada Yarbrough of Prue. Logan was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister. Services for Logan were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at First Baptist Church of Prue, with Rev. Garry McDevitt officiating. Musical selections were "Amazing Grace" and "Beulah Land" sung by Jerry Lay and accompanied by Melvina Prather also congrgational hymns "It Is Well With My Soul" and "Jesus Loves Me." Lee Yarbrough, Billy Yarbrough, Gary Yarbrough, David Yarbrough, Jesse (Skip) Fast, and Thomas Fast served as Casket Bearers. Interment was at Prairie View Cemetery in Prue. Family entrusted Powell Funeral Home with service arrangements.
