Young Mr. NANCE was 24 years of age and lived with his wife of six weeks in their new home just completed on the south side. The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. NANCE, and was well known, as he was raised in this community. He seemed to have a complication of ailments and had recently been to Kansas City for treatment. He thought he was improving, but taken suddenly and never rallied. His funeral was held at the Baptist church, of which he was a member, on Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Smith of Afton, at which more than a house full of people were present, after which his remains were taken to Hickory Grove cemetery, south of town for burial. The young wife, parents, brothers and sisters have the sympathy of the town and community.
