		Fairland Newsboy, Friday, Jan. 27, 1905

			FATALLY BURNED

Little Flora Ozell BOND, aged 3 years, 11 months and 11 days, daughter of E.L.
and Lulah BOND, living across Grand River south of this place, was burned to 
death on the morning of the 8th inst.

The parents had stepped out of the room when they heard her screams, and rushing
in, a horrible sight met their eyes. The child had been putting cobs in the king
heater and her dress had been drawn in by the flames by the draught, and when 
they reached her she was in a sheet of flames and a little 2-year old sister was
standing holding to her. The child lived until four o’clock in the afternoon, 
when its spirit took its flight. 
The bereaved parents have the sympathies of the community.

	Rosy cheeked darling the light of the home,
	Taken so early is beckoning come.
