Friday, Nov. 17, 1911 THEY’RE "SHORE" MARRIED The expected has happened. It’s no false alarm this time. It’s so. John B. THORNHILL and Mrs. Nancy DARNELL were married in Judge QUIGLEY’s office in Miami last Saturday Afternoon. They are now settled down peacefully and as happy as kittens in their home in the south part of town. Congratulations are in order. CRUSHED BY A TREE A very sad and fatal accident occurred to Andrew LYNCH, aged 15 years, and a step son of Sol. SELLERS, living southeast of town on Saturday last. Young LYNCH was gathering corn for Powel BLACK, during the fierce gale that was sweeping this section of the country. Some other boys were passing, and LYNCH, crawled upon his wagon and was talking to his friends when a tree standing near by was blown across the wagon, killing the young man and crushing the wagon to the ground. His funeral was preached at the Latter Day Saint’s church here of which he had been a member for five years, on Monday at 11 o’clock by Eld. F.M. CONNER and his remains were lain in the city cemetery. To add to the sadness of the affair, a letter was received on the day of the funeral of the death of his brother, two years older, who was drowned in Idaho, one day previous to the death of this one. LOCAL NEWS Aunt Tilda HARLIN, who has been quite sick is reported improving. We learn that Mr. John W. DAVIS and Miss Stella CROTZER were married at the home of Rev. Harve WESTON, Monday evening.
