TWO STORY BRICK STARTED On last Wednesday morning a force of men were set to work on the new GALLEMORE and Odd Fellows building on the northeast corner of Main and Conner. While the contract only calls for an eighty foot, two story building, it is generally understood that Mr. GALLEMORE intends to build the lower story the full length of the lot, 143 feet. The work on this building will be pushed as fast as possible and it is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy within three months. Several parties desire to rent the lower floor, but it is undecided as to who or what will go in, but Mr. GALLEMORE will find no difficulty in renting it. In fact two or three more just like it could be rented easily. ANOTHER TWO-ROOM BRICK Another transfer of business lots was made in Fairland the first of the week, and another brick business house will be the result. A.W. HARLIN purchased the lots on the east side of Main street between the pool hall and MAY’s barber shop, and will begin the erection of a two room brick building as soon as he can get the material on the ground and men to do the work. ONE HUNDRED FOOT FRONT The best building news to be reported yet is that of John A. CHERRY, who announces that he will erect a store building this summer that will outstrip anything in the town both in size and architecture. Mr. CHERRY has purchased the lots known as the Widow HOLT lots, lying just west of the Bank of Fairland on Conner avenue and facing the north, and will erect a two story brick store building with 100 foot plate glass front. The first floor to be used for general merchandise and the second for furniture and implements. HUDSON CREEK F.M. CONNER had business in Miami, Tuesday. C.
