REED, husband of the plaintiff. According to the petition, Mrs. REED charges that her husband was caught by an unguarded line shaft and pully in the Montezuma mill and thrown to the floor with such force as to inflict injuries which caused his death a week later. Mrs. REED states in the petition that her husband was the sole support of herself and three minor children. Submitter's Note: These are my great-great grandparents. I have the court papers with Flora settling out of court in the amount of $3,500.00. Two of the minor children, I can not find out anything on. Names were Chelora and Ruth. Chelora was born in 1914 and Ruth was born in 1911.
