Finke's death announcement was on is an interesting partial. There is only part of it included on my photocopied page. It relates the story of a shoot-out between a disgruntled citizen and a police officer in a crowded drug store. There is enough to get the story and several names. Both men died. The shooting took place in the drug store in the presence of twenty-five other people. One other person, a 22 year old farm boy was also shot and killed. Another person was wounded in the knee. Names in the article are Crockett Long, operative of the State Bureau of Criminal Identification, Rhody Watkins, the farm boy, John Gleen, Chief of Police, Wiley Lynn, the instigator, and John Hilburn, shot in the knee. The opening line is not there so I am uncertain where in Oklahoma this took place. The injured were taken to Ardmore Hospital so it would have been near there.
