Anderson, 83, of Pekin, IL, formerly of Bakersfield and Taft, CA died Saturday, November 11, 2006, in her home in Pekin, IL. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 15th, at First United Church of Christ, Sheffield, IL with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Graveside services will be on Friday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m. in West Side Cemetery, Taft, CA. Memorials may be made to First United Church of Christ, Sheffield, IL First Christian Church, Pekin, IL or Methodist Hospice, Peoria, IL. Erickson-Brown Funeral Home, Taft is assisting the family with arrangements. Marjorie Moore was born August 12, 1923 in Miami, OK, the daughter of Finis Burton and Mazie Marie (Long) Moore. She graduated in 1941 from Arcadia High School in Arcadia, KS and attended college in Miami, Oklahoma. Marjorie married Richard Anderson on March 22, 1946 in Sheffield. She owned and operated the Westside Oil Company in Taft, CA. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Marilyn Moore, Sheffield, IL; nephews and spouses, Skip Moore, Dallas TX, Randy and Debbie Anderson Pekin, IL and Doug and Patty Anderson, Pekin, IL; nieces and spouses, Denise and Roger Bolin, Buda, IL, Lori Moore, Little Rock, AR, Linda and Ron Ledger, Pekin, IL and Kathy Loftus in Texas. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews and former brothers-in-law, William Anderson, Pekin, IL and Gail Anderson in California.
