Clark, 85 years old, early day furniture dealer and undertaker here, died in a hospital at Nevada, Mo., Friday morning. After moving to Miami in a covered wagon in 1892, he operated a small business establishment on Main street. In 1916 he retired from business and moved to Anderson, Mo., where he had lived until shortly before his death. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lewis H. Finke of Miami, a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren. The body is being moved to Miami by the cooper Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are still pending. _______________________________ Obituary Miami Daily News Record December 8, 1946, page 8, column 5 Miami, Ottawa County, OK Surnames: Clark, Finke, Linton and Curtis Funeral services for Frank E. Clark, 85 years old, will be held at 2 0'clock Monday afternoon in the Cooper Chapel. The Rev. J. C. Linton and the Rev. Harry W. Curtis will officiate. Clark operated a furniture store and an undertaking establishment here from 1892 to 1916 when he retired and moved to Anderson, MO. He died Friday morning in a Nevada, MO hospital. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge. Miami members of that fraternal organization will act as pallbearers. Burial will be in the G.A.R. Cemetery.
