Clark, 75, of Paradise, CA died February 12, 2007 in Chico, CA. He was born to Albert and Jesse Clark on September 4, 1931 in Quapaw, Oklahoma. Virgil worked for 45 years in the lumber industry including Cloverdale Lumber and Foothill Mill and Lumber in Paradise, Ca. He grew up playing baseball and played with Mickey Mantle. Virgil loved woodworking and was able to see and make things out of any scrap of wood. He was a family man and loved to spend his time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Paradise Pentecostal Church of God and was there every day of the remodel for both the old church and the new church. He moved to Paradise, CA 14yrs ago from Ukiah, CA Virgil is survived by his wife Audine Clark of Paradise, CA. They were married in 1955. Sons: Eric J. Clark of Santa Rosa, CA and David S. Clark of Paradise, CA, daughters Rebecca Comer of Magalia, CA and Linda Martin of Seaside, OR, brother Jerry Clark of Texas, sisters Juanita Isborn of Ukiah, CA, Mary Busick of Arcata, CA, Linda Jennings of OK, Billie Barnes of OK and Helen Stanley of OK. Also 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2007, 10:00 A.M. at Ukiah Valley Mortuary followed by a service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Russian River Cemetery. Rose Chapel Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
