All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK Becker Funeral Home Obit 31 May 2005 Thomas Victor Evilsizer Age 74, Lawton - Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday in the Highland Cemetery with Chaplain Irv Johnson, officiating. Mr. Evilsizer died Tuesday in Lawton. Burial with military honors will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. He was born January 2, 1931 in Miami, Oklahoma, to Clarence P. and Bessie Evilsizer. He grew up in Miami and later moved to Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from the Kemper Military School and later attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Delta Epsilon. While at OU he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served in the infantry during the Korean War and was later honorably discharged. Following his discharge he worked with his father at the Tip Top Laundry. He was in the restaurant business having owned the Little Mexico Mexican restaurant and Tommy’s Steak Place. He was a cattleman and was past president of the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association. He retired from the insurance business. He married Jimmie Lee Pannell on February 5, 1994 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was member of the Lawton Rangers, the Military Order of World Wars, he was a pilot, an avid golfer and participated in the Firecracker Golf Tournament annually and enjoyed boating. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a daughter and son in law, A y and Jeremy Fremin, England; three sons, Mike Evilsizer and wife Stella, Doddridge, Arkansas, Price Evilsizer, Longview, Texas, and Kenn Evilsizer, Elgin; a step daughter, Jennifer Hepp and husband John, Irving, Texas; a sister, Sharon Durels and husband Walter, New York, New York; five grandchildren, Estella Anna Evilsizer, Stacey Michelle Evilsizer, Samuel Wayne Fremin, Benjamin Walker Fremin and Stephen Joseph Hepp. His parents, a son, Jay Thomas Evilsizer, a granddaughter, Meredith Lynn Evilsizer, and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Evilsizer, preceded him in death.
