Both are interred in the Virginia Mines Cemetery in Franklin Co Mo, near St. Clair. Another Obituary from one of the Franlin Co MO news papers reads: "Mrs. Mary E. Meredith Dead. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Meredith was born January 27, 1844, and died June 10, 1927. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Erri(sic) Standifer(sic) of Miami, Oklahoma, Jasper Meredith of Saint Clair and Mrs Frank Halley of Union, thirteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Her request was for her children not to grieve for her, because she was prepared to meet the Death Angel, and for them all to meet her in the world where parting will be no more. Interment was made in the Virginia Mines Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by J. B. Emmons. --Contributed." "DEATH CLAIMS MRS. MERIDETH (sic) Mrs. Elizabeth Merideth (sic), a former resident of this vicinity, passed away at her home in Miami, Okla., last Friday, June 10th, at the age of 83 years. Deceased was the mother of Jasper Merideth of St. Clair [MO] and had a wide circle of friends in the community. The body arrived in St Clair Saturday morning. Funeral services were conducted from the Virginia Mines church Sunday afternoon and burial in the cemetery at the same place."
