Their parents were to come later, by automobile. But Michael Lee and Dale Henry Nachtigal, both 6, will never see again the couple who erased their "unwanted" statue and took them home as sons. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Allen Nachtigal, both about 37, were killed Thursday night in a highway collision at Williams, Ariz. They were en route to Fairland to visit Mrs. Nachtigal's father, Henry Turner, east of here, to rejoin their small part-Indian sons whom they placed on an Oklahoma-bound plane a few days earlier. The Nachtigals lived in Pacoima, Calif. They also owned a farm near here. Mrs. Nachtiag was the former Nina Christine Turner, who was reared in this area. She was killed outright in the crash, and her husband died soon afterward in a Williams hospital. Details of the wreck were not immediately learned here. Mrs. Nachtigal also is survived by another son, Henry Gillespie, who is in the Navy at San Diego, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Valetta Dry, of Pacoima. Her husband was from South Dakota, where they found Michael Lee and Dale Henry. Nachtigal's mother and several brothers and sisters live there. Bodies of the couple will be sent to the Biddlecome Funeral home Seneca, which will be in charge of final rites.
