All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Scott , Nadine July 30, 1917 - June 02, 2007 Nadine was born a twin, the eldest of five, in Commerce, OK, to Dollie and Isaac Collins. In 1936, at 19, she moved to California. She went to work for Security Pacific Bank and worked replacements through World War II. She met Ken Scott while enjoying an outing at the driving range. They had so many similar interests they fell in love and were married October 21, 1950, settling in La Canada. In 1962 they became charter members of La Canada Country Club. Nadine served on many of the board jobs as well as President and team Captain several times. She also was active in Pandoras Couples Dance group, serving as President. Her real devotion, however, was the Shakespeare Club in Pasadena. Through her 53 years of being an active member she served in every capacity including President three times. She and husband Ken loved travel, visiting most of the major countries in our world. In the winter they enjoyed skiing with their ski club. Noted for her famous "Christmas Party" she entertained about 125 friends and family every year making all of the food herself. After 37 years in La Canada, they decided to move to a smaller place, choosing a condo. At Palm Valley Country Club once again she became active in the Women's Golf Association. After her husband Ken passed away she decided to come back to the Pasadena area to be near old friends. She settled at The Oaks. Being the active Sr. she was she took on programming for special events as well as securing ministers for Sunday worship and a Bible Class. She lost her fight with Melanoma, passing away peacefully at her home June 2nd. At her request there will be no services. Nadine will be missed by her many friends. One brother survives her.
