Grove Sun - Feb. 19, 1920

Charles L. Wallen, age 38, died at Fairland Monday, from complications
following an attack of influenza over a year ago and a more aggravated
recent attack. Burial at Fairland, Tuesday. He is the oldest brother of
Mrs. A.H. Gibson and leaves a number of relatives and friends to mourn his
death. The Sun tenders its sincerest sympathy to Mrs. Gibson in this hour
of great sorrow.

Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Gibson were called to Fairland, Monday by the death of
her brother, Chas. L. Wallen. They returned to Grove after the funeral
Tuesday afternoon. Cobb's grovery store was closed all day Tuesday.
