The parties entering into this solemn obligation were Mr. Simon R. WALKINGSTICK, of Tahlequah, and Miss Rebecca C. CHANDLER of Ogeechee. The groom is comparatively a stranger here but bears a good reputation, and holds a position with the Dawes Commission. The bride is the daughter of the well know postmaster Ben CHANDLER, and is well and favorably known in this vicinity. After the wedding, the happy couple left on a wedding tour to the World's Fair, after which they will return to Tahlequah, where they will make their future home. The ceremony was performed by Rev. V.C. NEAL of Afton, in the presence of only a few of the most intimate friends.
