Visitation: June 19, 2002 Service: June 20, 2002 Cemetery: Woodland Cemetery Nadine Shipman Bell, lifelong Cleveland area resident, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2002 at the Cleveland Area Hospital, at the age of sixty-four years, ten months and fifteen days. Nadine was born on August 2, 1937 in Searcy County Arkansas near Marshall. She was the daughter of Donald and Offie Z. Shipman. Nadine moved with her family to Cleveland at an early age and attended school here. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1955. Nadine was married to James Edward Bell on April 19, 1976 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. After only three years of marriage, James was tragically killed while working as a lineman near Rockwall, Texas. Nadine has continued to reside in Cleveland throughout her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an avid reader of romance novels. Nadine is survived by her daughter, Rheadon Harris of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Mark Pestel of Cleveland, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Sabrina Cavin, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Mark Seitz, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Timmy Seitz, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Zac Harris, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessie Harris, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ben Harris, Tulsa, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Bailey Cavin, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Jayce Cavin, Cleveland, Oklahoma and Bryce Cavin, Cleveland, Oklahoma; and a sister, Betty Treece, Cleveland, Oklahoma. In addition to her husband, Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Mary Juanita Ross, Donna Jean Davis, and Naomi Ruth Shipman; and three brothers, Denver Shipman, Paul Ray Shipman, and Harlen Leon Shipman. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2002 at the Chapel of Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Harris officiating.
