Obituary

Mrs. Mary Frances Burgess was born Oct. 2, 1848 and died at her home in Terlton,
Oklahoma, October 16, 1913, age 65 years and 14 days.

She was married in her 18th year to J.M. Burgess, and to this union seven children were
born, three of whom were present at the time of her death.  She becames a member of the
Baptist church in 1868, and remained a devoted member to the last.  She was a faithful
companion and a loving mother.

Funeral services were held by Rev. J.E. Rector, pastor of the Baptist church, Pawnee,
Oklahoma.
