The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- Claude Clayton Mosier 1895-1958 Claude Clayton Mosier, 63, of 4150 E. 37th Street, Tulsa, OK, a former employee of the Beech Aircraft Co., died August 7, 1958 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Burke, with whom he had been living the past 1 ½ years. He was a member of the Osage tribe. Mr. Mosier was born in Blackburn and attended high school at Pawnee. He lived for 10 years in Arkansas City, KS before moving back to Oklahoma, settling at Maramec. At Maramec, he was the lake caretaker. His parents were Jacob Mosier and Alice Plummer Mosier. He married Vena Serena Privett in 1917 in Pawnee County. Later he moved to Wichita and went to work for the Beech firm. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John J. Burke (Helen) of the Tulsa home; Mrs. Felix Bryant, Jr. (Mary), Ponca City ; Mrs. Elliot Epstein (Claudia) , Dallas, and Miss Frances Mosier, Houston; a son, Joe Mosier, Wichita; a sister, Mrs. Estelle Hill, Long Beach, CA and a half-sister, Mrs. John Mauller, Florence, CO. Arrangements are pending with the Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pawnee.
