Jacobs (Photo with Obit) CANTON - Services for Warren Alexander Jacobs, 87, Canton, were held 4 p.m. Wednesday at Eubank Funeral Home chapel, Canton, with the Revs. Charles Richardson and George Jesse officiating.Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Jacobs died June 15 in a Tyler hospice. He was born April 9, 1911, in Holdenville, Okla., to the late Newman F. and Ella Monahwee Jacobs. He served in the Army Air Corps during II World War and was a civil service employee at Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth. He lived in Canton the past years and was a member of Lions Club, First Baptist Church, Canton, and Builder II Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his first wife Of 32 years, Edna Pickle Jacobs, brothers William,Jess and John Jacobs; and stepson,Ken Gipe. Survivors include his wife, Martha Gipe Jacobs, Canton; son, Warren Samuel Jacobs Huntington; daughters, Sarah Jane Jacobs, Freeport, Maine, Johnnie Jacobs Lee, Dallas; stepson, Kerry Gipe, Denton; five grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat- grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Pallbearers included Clinton Gober, Eddie Rasmussen, Tom Gary, Vernon Ellison, Jim January and Boyd Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are W.A. Motley and members of Builders II Sunday School Class.
