Kizer Marysville-Yuba City Appeal Democrat June 4, 2005 - 9:00AM Wayne A. Kizer, 92, of Linda died June 2, 2005, at Fremont Medical Center. Born in Jennings, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 62 years. He worked as a civilian employee at McClelland Air Force Base, refueling airplanes, for 20 years. A member of Thousand Trails, he was also a campground host with his wife at Little Grass Valley Lake for 16 years and attended Queens Avenue Community Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors includes his wife, Myrtle Kizer of Linda; a daughter, Karen Peters of Yuba City; a son, Les Kizer of Grass Valley; a brother, Jack Kizer of Little Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Helen Cargill of Kansas, Virginia Russell of Arkansas and Dorothy Milam of Texas; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Jewell Kizer and Deloris Bettencourt; a brother, Joe Kizer; three sisters, Lucille Forbes, Geneva Campbell and Reba Wilburn; a granddaughter; and a great- grandson. Donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee for Disaster Relief. Services: Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sierra View Mortuary, 4498 Olive Ave., Olivehurst.
