Justin was born February 28, 1979, in Pawnee, the son of Bob James Newport and Shirley Jane (Waggoner) Newport. He attended Rogers State University, Oklahoma State University, Mississippi Gulf Coast College, Northern Oklahoma College and Vo-Tech at Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Covenant Fellowship Church of Cushing, Oklahoma. He was the manager of the Pawnee Pipe Company. Justin was a quiet, kind and gentle person, who got along with most all people. Survivors include his father, Bob Newport of Pawnee; his mother, Shirley Slavens of Morrison, Oklahoma; his fiancé, Brandy and her daughter, Madison of Perkins, Oklahoma; four brothers, Kenan Newport and wife, Christy of Stillwater, Aaron Newport of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Sam Newport and wife, Amy of Mannford, Oklahoma, and Earl Newport of Christiansburg, Virginia; a sister, Libby Berry and her husband, Art, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandparents, Cecil and Pauline Newport of Cleveland, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews, three aunts, two uncles, numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, in Eshelman Memorial Chapel, Pawnee with Pastor Bill Allton officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Pawnee. Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, is in charge of arrangements.
