Visitation: None Service: January 23, 2002 Rosemary Hazel Peachey, was born December 15, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dolena Udine (Ball) Desnoyers and Lawrence Early. Rosemary was raised and received her education in Tulsa. Rosemary began working in Tulsa at for Lloyds Self-Service Shoes that later became Trippetts. February 18, 1967 Rosemary was united in marriage to Ted M. Peach at Nowata, Oklahoma they then made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1975 Rosemary and Ted moved to Cleveland. Rosemary worked for the Rexall on main street for over eleven years until they closed. Rosemary then started to work for the Cleveland Bank. Rosemary retired after eight years of employment with Cleveland Bank due to health reasons. Rosemary was the first Citizen of the Year as well as the first Clerk of the Year that the Cleveland Chamber started to recognize. She loved to read, crochet, creative writing and listening to music. Proceeding her in death were her mother and a brother Larry. Rosemary passed away January 19, 2002 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years 1 month and 4 days. Survived by her husband, Ted M. Peachey, of the home; daughter, Joyce M. Hodson, Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sisters, Sandra Roderick, Grove, Oklahoma; Marcia Burleigh, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Penny Jenkins, Drumright, Oklahoma; two Grandchildren, Thomas William Hodson, Cleveland, Oklahoma; Timothy Dewayne Hodson, Cleveland, Oklahoma; friend, Joyce Bargas, Collinsville, Oklahoma and thirteen nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held January 23, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Western Heights Baptist Church officiated by Rev. David Head under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Cleveland Library.
