Visitation: June 10, 2002 Service: June 11, 2002 Cemetery: Woodland Cemetery (Photos) Inez E. Potts was born June 10, 1913 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was the daughter of R. W. and Elizabeth Hattie Brisco. Inez was raised and received her education in the Fort Smith area. Shortly after her graduation, Inez was married to Roy L. Potts. The couple established their initial home in Fort Smith and resided there until 1955 when they moved to Tulsa. They had one daughter, Delpha. Inez began her career with the Tulsa Public School system soon after they arrived in Tulsa. She worked for nearly twenty years, retiring in 1975 as printshop supervisor. Shortly after her retirement, the couple moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy on July 31, 1981. Inez continued to reside in the Cleveland area until her death on Friday, June 7, 2002 at the age of eighty-eight years, eleven months and twenty-seven days. For many years, Inez attended Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After becoming homebound due to health reasons, she relied on TBN as her spirital source and church family. Inez loved to quilt and sew. She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her garden and fishing whenever the opportunity arose. In addition to her husband, Inez was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Raymond, Vester and Delno; and three sisters, Pearl, Viola, and Rose, Inez is survived by her daughter, Delpha Brewer, Terlton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Cathy Felder, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kevin Brewer, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Kelly Brewer, Terlton, Oklahoma and Kimberly Brewer, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren, Joseph Felder, Corpus Christi, Texas, Rebecca Felder, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Michael Felder, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jacob Brewer, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Ryan Brewer, Cleveland, Oklahoma and Micaela Brewer, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tueday, June 11, 2002 at the Chapel of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Edens officiating.
