He was 85. He was born Sept. 1, 1920, in Topeka, Kan., to Everett and Sarah Cates Price. He married Deloris Manning on March 29, 1942, in Pawnee, Okla. A graduate of Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, Okla., he served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. He founded Price Refrigeration in 1950 and later merged with Miller & Harvey Sheet Metal to become Harvey & Price Company. He enjoyed fishing, boating and RV travel. He was a member of the Eugene Lions Club and Eugene Elks Lodge. In 1965, Price was awarded the craftsmanship award from American Institute of Architects for his work in refriger- ation. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Susan Pederson and Kathy Eldridge, both of Vancouver, Wash.; a son, G. Randall of Eugene; a brother, Ronald, of Portland; six grandchildren and 10 great- grandchil- dren. No service is planned. Private inurnment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
