Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery by Poteet Funeral Home. Mr. Rodgers was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Electra, Texas. He married Thelma Watson on June 7, 1968, in Fort Worth. Survivors include his wife; his children, Sandra Blazak of Fort Meyers, Fla., Gary Rodgers of Amarillo, Texas, Rita Buford, Joyce Wright and Barabra Cooper, all of Paris, Texas, Cherlyn Dale of Orlando, Larry Hall, Robert Hall, Peggy Guthrie and Carol Sturgeon, all of Pawnee, Mike Hall of Spring City, Pa., and Debbie Warnock of Jennings; 32 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Rodgers of Abilene and Luther Rodgers of Amarillo; and a sister, Cleo Harper of Snyder, Texas.
