Visitation: June 20, 2002 Service: June 21, 2002 Cemetery: Woodland Cemetery Sarah May Robinson, a resident of Cleveland was born June 30, 1930 in Sinnett, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2002 at the age of 71 years 11 months and 19 days. She was preceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, John Ray Cowen, Wilbert Gene Cowen, Charles Ernest Cowen and Freddie James Cowen. Four half sisters: Elsie Hickman, Cora Wilcoxson, Stella Groves, Eula Belle Jones and a set of twin siblings Arnold and Arnie Cowen. Mae was born to James Francis and Mildred B. Cowen. She attended Cleveland Schools and graduated in 1949. Sarah retired from both Munsingwear and Walmart. Mae attended the First Christian Church in Cleveland. Mae is survived by her son, Gregory Allen and wife Lisa Robinson of Cleveland, Oklahoma; David Warren and wife Janice Robinson of Prattville, Oklahoma; Daughter, Jolene and husband Donnie Chapel of Dallas, Texas; brother and sister in law, James T. and Lois Cowen of Chouteau, Oklahoma; brother and sister in law, Guy E. and Carlece Cowen of Texas; sister Mary Ann Kilpatrick of Jennings, Oklahoma; brother and sister in law, Duane and Elaine Cowen, Pryor, Oklahoma; sister and brother in law, Sue and Joe Burgess, Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Megan Roberts, Michelle Geary and Tina Holmes as well as six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be J.C. Teasley, Carlton Walker, Jim Kilpatrick, Mitch Cowen, Terry Estes, and Bobby Underwood. Services will be held Friday, June 21, 2002 at 10:00 am in the Chapman-Black Chapel officiated by Duane Cowen. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
