Whitlow, services held her Monday (1974) Pioneer Pawneean, Robert Burns (Bob) Whitlow, 91, died here Friday, Feb. 21, and funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 24. He is survived by 68 living descendants. Born August 31, 1883 in Hume, Mo., he has lived in Pawnee since 1898. He married Edna Mae Harrison on October 7, 1907, at Stillwater and she passed away July 16, 1973. He was a member of the First Christian church of Pawnee. Survivors include 4 daughters and 2 sons: Mrs. Mildred Todd and Zane Whitlow, both of Pawnee; Mrs. Ruth Puckette of Hodgens, Okla., Mrs. Grace LeGrand of Skiatook; Earl Witlow of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Hankie James of Hominy. Three sons preceded him in death. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren, plus a brother and sister: Jess Whitlow of Ponca City and Mrs. Maude Fields of Bucklin, Kans. The Revs. Gregory Whitlow and Dr. Albert Jones officiated at the service at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24 at the Poteet Funeral Chapel.
