The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- WANDA JUANITA NUTTLE OCNS - July 10, 2002 - Wanda Juanita Nuttle, 81, (eighty-one years, six months and twenty-six days) died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas where she had been making her home with her daughter, Margy. Wanda was born December 10, 1920 in Norfolk, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter R. Duff, Sr. and Ruth C. (Caldwell) Duff. In 1938 Wanda graduated from high school in Kaw City, Oklahoma and on May 24, 1941, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, she married Clarence Eli Nuttle. The couple made their home in Pawnee, Oklahoma where Wanda worked for Southwestern Bell until 1960 at which time they moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma and she continued her employment with the telephone company until her retirement in 1983. She was an avid seamstress and gardener, sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. She was a member of the Disciple of Christ Church. Survivors are: her daughter, Margy Chaufty and her husband, Ed of Texarkana and a son, Marc Nuttle and his wife, Ann Monsour of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Karl Kutscherousky and her husband, Link, Ron Chaufty and his wife, Lynn all of Texarkana; Jon Chaufty and his wife, Catherine, of North Carolina, and Marissa and Marci Nuttle of Norman, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Karleigh, Alacia and Trent Voth, Josh and Jonathon Jefferies and Austin Kutscherousky, all of Texarkana and Brittney, Brannon, Brooke and Braden Chaufty, all of North Carolina; three brothers, W.R. (Buddy) Duff, Jr., and his wife, Georgia of Pennsylvania, Jerry L. Duff and his wife, Aylee of Kellyville, Oklahoma and James M. (Jim) Duff, and a number of other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nuttle was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on December 28, 2001. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2002 in Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee.
