Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Assembly of God Church. Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday in Olton Cemetery at Olton. Arrangements are by Vaughan's Funeral Home of Boerne. Mr. Ball was born in Elmore City, Okla. In 1941, he was ordained as a minister by the Assemblies of God and later served as C.A. President of the West Texas District for two years. In Texas, his 57year ministry included Denver City, Pecos, Dalhart, and Boerne. In Oklahoma he pastored in Ninnekah, Elm Grove, Girard and Stillwater. For 13 years, he pastored in Central Assembly of God Church at Peoria, Ill. His final pastorate was at Eureka, Ill. He married Johnnie Syble Hart in 1941. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Earline Mumme and Denise Carrigan, both of San Antonio; a son, Fred Ball Jr. of Peoria; a brother, Lewis Ball of Lubbock; a sister, Katie Pauline Alexander of Plainview; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to West Texas District Council Home Missions, 5504 Wayne Ave., Lubbock, TX 79414-4137; or Aged Ministers Assistance, General Council of the Assemblies of God, 1445 Boonville Ave., Springfield, MO 65890-0204.
