Mrs. Dora Mae Branstetter, 94 year old long time Cushing resident, died at her home in West Corvina, California, at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday following a long illness. The body is being forwarded to Cushing by plane and funeral services will held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, with Reverend Robert Smith, District Superintendent of the Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Dale Martin will sing "Rock of Ages" and "Beautiful Isle", Mrs. Allen Seal will play the piano accompaniment. Casket Bearers will be Ellis Claude, Orville Pote, Leo Crook and Henry O. Mitchell. Interment under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery beside the grave of her late husband, Mark Branstetter. Mrs. Branstetter was born April 11, 1871 at Edina, Missouri and she came with her family to Oklahoma in 1892, settling 2 miles north of Cushing, she lived in this area until July, 1955 whens she moved to California.
